Though I visited Walt Disney World a few times as a child, my love for Disney really sparked in high school. Each Christmas season, my school choir traveled to Walt Disney World to participate in Epcot’s Candlelight Processional, and I had the privilege of helping to plan those trips.
In school, the “core members” of the choir were like a family. If you’ve ever been a dedicated member of a sports team, band, etc., you know exactly what I mean. Being able to experience the Disney magic and make incredible memories with my friends stuck with me through the years.
I loved it so much (the trip itself and the planning process) that I continued helping with the trips even after graduation. I even convinced my family to visit Mickey a few times during college.
When I met my husband, he had never visited Disney World, something I knew had to change! For my college graduation, my parents invited him to come on our family trip and he quickly found out why I loved it so much. I won’t go as far as to say he feels as strongly as I do about it, but he definitely doesn’t fight my obsession.
When we got married, we had a Disney honeymoon and have returned several times since then. We even took a 2.5 week road trip across the country in January 2018 to Disneyland in southern California! In a span of 9 months, I visited Disneyland, Walt Disney World 3 times, and sailed on a Disney Cruise (as well as a Royal Caribbean cruise and a visit to SeaWorld)! While I do love traveling and try to go as many places as I can, a big push for some of these trips has been to learn more and bring more first-hand knowledge to my clients.
When planning a vacation for my clients, whether it be to Walt Disney World, a Disney Cruise, Universal Orlando Resort, or another destination, I put the same energy and detail into each one. I work with my clients to get to know their specific vacation dreams, priorities, wishes, and needs. After learning a little about the client, we work together to build the vacation that best suits each specific family. No two families are exactly the same, so no two vacations should be exactly the same!
Throughout the planning process, I take on as much or as little “charge” as my clients prefer. Do you want to make all your FastPass+ reservations yourself? Ok! I’m here to answer any questions you might have. Did you just read those last two sentences and get stressed because you have no idea what a FastPass+ is? No worries- that’s why I’m here! When working with me, not only do you have my personal knowledge and experience to benefit from, but that of my team as well! Coasters & Castles Travel Vacation Specialists support each other more than any other team I’ve even been a part of, which is definitely an advantage to our clients!
The best part of all this is that there is NEVER a fee for my magical services, so let Coasters & Castles Travel- Kara Brown build the magic for you!
