Everyone who visits Walt Disney World in Florida can be assured of at least one thing: there will be a LOT of tempting treats to try!
Some people LOVE a Mickey Bar, or a Mickey Waffle. After all, who can resist a yummy treat in the shape of the main mouse? I enjoy those too.
Other guests simply HAVE to get a Dole Whip. That dreamy, refreshing pineapple treat is so yummy and COLD. I enjoy one one a hot day, for sure.
For me, though, the treats in Les Halles in the France pavilion in EPCOT (also known as the French bakery) are simply on another level altogether. I enjoy the creme brulee's simple creamy sweetness. The eclair is a dream of choux pastry surrounding a center of pastry cream. Bien!
But my absolute favorite treat in all of Walt Disney World has to be the Raspberry Macaron! Not only does it feature the classic macaron cookies, it also has a center of FRESH raspberries AND citrus creme! The citrus (I detect lemon, but the menu says lime. As a compromise, I am calling it simply 'citrus') balances the sweetness of the pastry. If I'm feeling super indulgent, I order an espresso with it. I can't wait to visit again and enjoy this delicious treat once again!!
