When planning your first Disney cruise, you will get lots of advice on what to pack. Make sure to include decorations for your door! How do you decorate your stateroom door? Magnets, Magnets, Magnets! The doors are made of steel, so they are magnetic. You can buy magnets or print them yourself at home using magnet paper. Yes, there is such a thing as magnet paper, which can be found at an office supply store such as Office Depot. You can also make items and glue magnets to the back of them. Not into do-it-yourself, you can find lots of choices to purchase on Etsy. For our first cruise, we only had a few magnets. But, then we added to our collection as you can see from these pictures.
These decorations help to make your door easy to spot and it is fun to look at all of the decorations as you are walking down the hallways. Keep in mind that you should only use magnets. You are not allowed to affix anything to the door using tape or adhesive that may damage the door’s finish. Guests who damage doors will be assessed a fee to cover the cost of repairs.
Oh and don’t forget to take them home with you when you leave!
