So today I was able to go to Epcot and take a walk around the amazing Flower and Garden Festival. First I have to say walking into Epcot is a great experience with its amazing fountain to greet you and of course our friend Mickey!
Now once we round the corner my spirits are lifted by the continued progress on Epcot’s renovations!!! Soon folks - I feel the park moving forward again.
And then it was on to one of my favorites - THE BUTTERFLY HOUSE
We were able to stop by the Outdoor Kitchen - the Honey Bee-Stro Hosted by National Honey Board and enjoy a fantastic Lavender Honey Mustard-marinated Chicken Flatbread. The whipped honey ricotta cheese, marinated vegetables and purple haze lavender goat cheese was amazing.
And then we were off for our walk around the world. Beautiful flowers graced all locations and some of my favorite characters were awaiting us in all their floral glory.
The smells of the food kiosks were outstanding and we were grateful for how many locations exist for your dining enjoyment. Standing and seated tables as well as benches have been increased. This made for a wonderful experience because you should be in one place with your mask off to eat or drink.
Did I mention that the beautiful princesses cruised by in their horse-drawn carriage and my friend Mary Poppins was hanging around the United Kingdom having a wonderful conversation with all the guests.
As I said I truly enjoyed all of the floral arrangements and pretty new villages in Germany as well. This is definitely a trip worth your while with beautiful sights and wonderful tastes.
