Throughout the holiday season, we will be sharing some of our favorite things. Things to do. Things to see. Things to eat. Things to give. We hope you enjoy this series!
Whenever we visit the Walt Disney World Resorts, we like to spend the first evening, after checking in, at Disney Springs, which my family continues to call Downtown Disney. We get something to eat and do a little shopping. This year, we were in for a special treat because the Christmas decorations were up and I particularly enjoyed the Christmas Tree Trail.
There are 22 Christmas trees on display, each depicting a theme. My daughter obliged me by standing next to each and every one of them for me to take a picture. My favorite is the Walt Disney Theme Park tree which had a monorail going around it like garland. Other favorites include Mickey & Minnie, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Haunted Mansion and Star Wars. And, since we are from New Orleans, we also loved the Princess and the Frog tree.
This Holiday display is located in the Marketplace near the Once Upon A Toy store and will be open for viewing until January 5, 2020.
