My favorite rides

I’ve been down to WDW so many times I’ve stopped counting. But one thing I can count on is each trip riding my favorite rides. Here is a list of my favorites!

Magic Kingdom: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and It’s a Small World! One of the oldest and the newest of the MK rides. Let Seven Dwarfs Mine Train take you through the mine during the queue. Be awarer that If you fast pass it, you will miss this part! The queue is very interactive once you get inside the ride, and the “magic” will impress even the most cynical among us.

It’s a Small World takes you on a fantasy ride through countries of the world, and if you can withstand the song, and focus on the early animatronics and costumes of the dolls, you will find it extremely entertaining and nostaligic. (Yes the song can get totally stuck in your head!).

EPCOT: Test Track: If you love speed and Imagineering, this is the ride for you. It takes you through a Design-Your-Own-Car process and then an exciting ride through the testing of vehicles before they are put into production. The end of the ride is what you see standing outside the building, where you hear and see the cars whizzing past at up to 60miles/hour and passengers' screams. A thrilling end to a great ride!

Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Midway Mania is the best ride there, in my opinion! However, keep in mind that they are completely redoing the park, and adding a Toy Story land! Toy Story combines skill and competition to create a totally interactive ride/attraction!

Animal Kingdom: I have 2 favorites: Kali River Rapids and Kilimanjaro Safaris! If you have kids, you have to do the safari, and now they have night time ones. You see many animals from the continents of Africa and Asia, live roaming free in their enclosures I love Kali River Rapids because if it’s a hot day, you can get totally soaked on this ride down a controlled river with gentle rapids. Fun for all ages!

You may have noticed I have not included the roller coasters on this list. I am not a roller coaster fan, although I do enjoy Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom. Others in my family love Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest and Space Mountain. I highly recommend these rides for those who love thrill rides, along with Tower of Terror and Rock'n' Roller Coaster!
