An Enchanting Stay at The Grand Floridian - Club Level

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my new favorite Walt Disney World Resort!

Ever since my first visit to Magic Kingdom in 2006, I saw the Victorian style resort across the Seven Seas Lagoon and knew that one day I would stay there. Eleven years later, my wish came true. My two best friends and I, along with my friend’s seven year old niece, spent 5 nights at this beautiful resort.

Upon arrival, we checked into the main building and a Club Level Cast Member met us and walked us to the Sugar Loaf building where our room was and explained the services of being a club level guest.

On the first floor of the building, we had access to the lounge that offers complimentary food and refreshments throughout the day. There is also a personal concierge who is available to make arrangements for dining, recreation services, tickets, childcare and many other services. There is comfortable seating and a television area for children to watch Disney cartoons. Club cast members are available from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm daily.

The schedule for refreshments are as follows:

Coffee: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm

Grand beginnings: 7:00 am - 10:30 am

Refreshments 11:30 am – 3:30 pm

Afternoon tea 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Twilight refreshers – 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Cordials and desserts 8:00 pm – 10 pm

Even with having the Disney Dining plan, we did use this service for breakfast and snacks before and after our trips to the parks.

Our room had two queen beds, a sitting area and desk and included a DVD/ CD player and a balcony. The bathroom had a double vanity and was spacious to accommodate our group of 4. There is also nightly turn down service with delicious chocolates and robes to use during your stay.

There are two pools and a children's water play area at the resort. The beach pool includes a water slide and poolside cabanas available for rent. The courtyard pool is a quiet pool for all ages that is located next to the kiddie pool and whirlpool spa.

There are plenty of restaurants at the Grand Floridian. From quick service dining at Gasparilla Island Grill to table service dining at the Grand Floridian Cafe and character dining at 1900 Park Fare. Citricos, Narcoossee's and Victoria & Albert’s are the three signature restaurants that are at the resort. There is also a bar and grill next to the beach pool which we did have lunch there after swimming which was very convenient. 1900 Park Fare is my favorite character breakfast restaurant and the late night pizza at Gasparilla Island was do delicious!

We will definitely be staying at this resort again!
