Breakfast at the NEW! Topolino's

If you're heading to Walt Disney World, I highly recommend trying the NEW character breakfast at Topolino's Terrace in the NEW Riviera Resort!

We took the Disney Skyliner from our resort, Yacht Club, using the EPCOT station to the Riviera Resort. I love this new transportation option! It was super quick, peaceful and smooth!

We took the covered walkway to the Riviera and then too the elevator to the very top of the Riviera to Topolino's Terrace. As we walked to our table, I noticed the sweeping views from the terrace. You can see for miles!

The dining room features soft colors of blue and beige with gorgeous gold light fixtures and huge windows. Unlike many character meals, this space was relatively quiet, except for the occasional announcements heralding the characters.

The Breakfast alá Art menu offers a nice variety of standard breakfast foods like Two Eggs Any Style, served with potatoes and meat or meat-alternative plus some more European choices, like Quiche Gruyère, Croissant au Jambon and even a Wood-Fired Butchers Steak. To start our meal, we enjoyed a paint bucket of pastries, including Epi Bread, Croissants and muffins served with jam, chocolate hazelnut mousse and honey butter. They were a cut above the standard Disney pastries and all delicious.

I ordered the Quiche Gruyère and my daughter ordered the Sour Cream Waffles with Roasted Apples, Chantilly and Orange-Maple Syrup so we could share. The quiche was creamy and perfectly seasoned. I loved that it came with a lightly dressed salad. The waffle were crispy on the outside and tender inside and all the accompaniments were yummy!

To go along with the riviera theme, all the characters are dressed as artists. Mickey is a painter, Minnie is a writer, Donald is a sculptor and Daisy is a ballerina! The new costumes are adorable and the characters were having fun in their new roles. The location is also selling plushes of the characters in their outfits!

Overall, I absolutely loved this character meal! The food was outstanding, service was attentive and the characters were cute and fun. The price for adults is $41 and for children, 3-9 is $24.
