Disney release a sneak peak of the art that will debut at the all new Riviera resort when it opens later this year. The art will feature concept art with European settings, archival photography from Walt’s travels through Europe, and more than 40 signature pieces created exclusively for the resort that feature such Disney films as “Beauty and the Beast,” “Peter Pan,” “The Aristocats.” “Ratatouille,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Tangled,” and “Moana”.
Disney’s “Walk Around the World” near Magic Kingdom park and the Ticket and transportation Center are being retired. The move is being done to enhance security by increasing the amount of bag check lines and metal detectors that will be available. Visitors who sponsored a brick will be able to buy a commemorative brick by visiting City Hall at the Magic Kingdom park or Guest Relations at Disney Springs. If you are unable to visit in person you can email guest.services@disneyworld.com or call 407-828-2701 to purchase a commemorative brick. Guests who did not participate in the original program may also buy a commemorative brick for an additional cost by visiting Tomorowland Light & Power Co. inside the Magic Kingdom or the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs.
The sections of the parking lot at Hollywood Studios has been renamed after several beloved Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Jessie, Olaf, and BB-8. Two new bus loops have also been added for guests arriving via the resort busses.
Beginning on March 19, guests staying at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando (pictured above) who have booked a package through the Walt Disney Travel Company will be able to book FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance and will be able to participate in Extra Magic Hours. These benefits are available through December 31, 2019 and are subject to change without notice.
Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres opened this week in Disney Springs. Jaleo features Spanish tapas, paellas (some made table side), sangrias, and a selection of Spanish wines and sherries.

Tickets for Pop Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration are now on sale at Disneyland.com. The experience celebrates 90 years of Mickey Mouse and salutes the Disney classics. The experience opens on April 26th in the Downtown Disney district and includes five hours of complimentary parking.
An all new Avengers themed immersive and interactive experience coming to Disney’s California Adventure park was announced this week. The experience titled WEB (Worldwide Engineering Brigade) will allow guest to interface with favorite Avengers characters in new ways. The first initiative will be designing a new suit for Spiderman.
Disney Channel Fan Fest will return to the Disneyland park on April 27th. The event will feature live music on the main stage, Q&A sessions, and meet and greets with stars from such shows as “Descendants 3,” “Zombies,” “Kim Possible,” “Raven’s Home,” and “BUNK’D”. Meet and Greets will be available to fans who obtain a wristband at park opening on a first come first served basis.
