It was another action-packed week in Disney news so let’s get right to it!



Disney Parks

Guests visiting Disney California Adventure Park’s Pixar Pier and Hollywood Studios Toy Story Land will be able to meet Bo-Peep from Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 4 this summer. Official opening dates for this new meet and greet will be announced soon.


Disney World

Disney’s PhotoPass service has added it’s 13th attraction to the lineup of on ride photos guests can enjoy – the Haunted Mansion! Take a hitchhiking ghost home with you and relive your magical moments by previewing your photo at Disneyworld.com/Photopass or on the My Disney Experience App. With Memory Maker you can download all of your photos for one price ($169 if purchased at least three days in advance of your vacation or $199 if purchased during or after your vacation.)


Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night begins on July 24, 2019, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The dining and educational event will include light bites as well as a heavier buffet dinner at the Harambe Market. Pricing is $125 plus tax for adults and $99 plus tax for children ages 3-9 and separate park admission is required. Reservations can be made starting April 3, 2019 by calling 407 WDW-DINE (407 939-3463) or by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort Dining Page.


Disney After Hours has been extended at the Magic Kingdom theme park. For the summer, the magic will be enhanced to Disney Villains After Hours. This exclusive will include an all new villain stage show titled Villains Unite the Night. Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain will have villainous overlays added. Guests can enjoy villain inspired treats and snacks and purchase exclusive villain merchandise. Tickets for this event will go on sale on April 29. The cost is $139 plus tax in advance or $144 on the night of the event, subject to availability. Note – Villains participating in the stage show will note be available for meet and greets.


Celebrate the Fourth of July with Woody, Buzz, and friends at Woody’s Roundup Barbecue Buffet! This special even will be held July 4th – 6th at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Guests will enjoy a buffet of barbecue and southern classics as well as patriotic and summer themed desserts. A DJ will be spinning your favorite dance tunes and you’ll be entertained with camp style carnival games and a balloon artist who will create your favorite Toy Story characters. The event runs from 6:15 PM – 9:15 PM. The cost is $149 for adults and $99 for children 3-9 *tax and gratuity included). Reservations can be made by calling 407 WDW-DINE (407 939 3463)



Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival will run for a total of 87 days from August 23, 2019 – November 19, 2019. Guests will have an opportunity to enjoy tasty drinks and dishes from around the world and will be entertained by a number of pop, country, Christian, rock, and R&B acts during the festival. A full lineup will be announced at a later date.


The dates for Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays have been announced. The celebration of holiday cheer featuring special entertainment, storytellers, and Holiday Kitchens will run from November 29, 2019 to December 30, 2019. The Candlelight Processional which features celebrity narrators and a gospel choir telling the story of Christmas, will also run during these dates.



Disneyland

Disneyland After Dark – Heroes Assemble will be held from 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM on April 30th and May 1st at Disney California Adventure theme park. Guests will be able to dress up as their favorite Marvel characters and partake in special photo opportunities and hero sightings, enjoy special entertainment including a Meet and Greet with actress Ashley Eckstein (Lady Elanna on Avengers Assemble), indulge in exclusive specialty foods, and have special after hours access to many of the parks attractions including Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Disneyland Resort ticket booth or by calling (714) 781-4636.
