Walt Disney World

Guests looking to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in 2020 have two offers available to them.

Guests staying at a Value or Moderate resort who are able to secure this offer will receive one Quick Service Dining Plan (2 Quick Service meals, 2 snacks per day, and 1 refillable mug) per person. Guests staying in a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa will receive one regular Dining Plan (1 Sit Down meal, 1 Quick Service Meal, and 2 snacks per day and a refillable mug) per person. Exclusions do apply and the offer must be booked by January 16, 2020.

For guests looking to travel between January 2, 2020 – April 25, 2020 Disney is offering up to 20% off rooms at select Disney Resort hotels. Additionally, if you add a 6-day or longer park ticket, each guest (ages 3 and up) will also receive a $30 Disney Gift Card.

Florida residents can experience all of the magic the Walt Disney World theme park has to offer through the 3-Day Discover Disney Ticket. Guest can experience one park per day with this special ticket. The cost is $175 per person plus tax. For an additional $20 guests can add a fourth park to their ticket. Tickets can be used any day through June 30, 2020 and the Park Hopper option can be added for an additional fee.

We recommend contacting your preferred Coasters and Castles Travel Agent to assist you with one of these offers.

Disney announced that the soon to open fast casual Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will be hosted by All-American Muppet Sam the Eagle. The restaurant will be a salute to all foods, but mostly barbecue!

Also, over at Epcot, the temporary Character Spot greeting area will be closing on January 5th. As a result, characters will be moving to new locations as follows:

Mickey Mouse – Outside the Disney-Pixar Short Film Festival in the Imagination Pavilion

Minnie Mouse – World Showcase Gazebo

Daisy Duck – Future World East

Goofy – Main Entrance near Spaceship Earth

Joy – Inside the Imagination! Pavilion near Wreck-It Ralph

Sadness and Baymax will no longer be greeting guests at this time.

MouseGears at Epcot will also close on January 5th for remodeling. A temporary location will open at Innoventions East while construction is under way.

New scenes from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker have been added to Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. The nighttime fireworks and pyrotechnic extravaganza plays nightly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

M&Ms Orlando will be opening later in 2020 at Disney Springs. This delectably sweet store will offer edible and non-edible treats for guests to the area. The store will be located near the newly opened NBA Experience.
