In Memorial

Walt Disney World lost another adored and valued member of it’s family in the passing of “Aunty Kau’I” (Kau’ihealani Mahikoa Brandt). Aunty Kau’I was an Opening Day cast member who helped to lauch the luau dinner show at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. She went on to become a Cultural Ambassador at the Polynesian – handing out leis and grass skirts, and teaching guests how to do the hula. The Walking Down Main Street team sends its deepest condolences to Aunty Kau’I’s family and friends.
