As always, there's a lot of news from around the parks to get into this week!

Walt Disney World


Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is now open. This beautiful lounge inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast animated and live action movies, is the perfect spot to enjoy light bites or a beverage while visiting the resort. The lounge is located on the second floor at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.


Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park during the holiday season can take advantage of additional savings on their dining with the purchase of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Tasting Sampler. Guests will receive two digital gift cards, one for $50 which can be used at select carts and kiosks within the park, and an additional $10 card that can be used at select quick service restaurants within the park. In addition, each purchase includes two reserved seats for the second showing of Rivers of Light: We Are One. This special savings is available for use from December 22, 2019 to January 4, 2020 only.


Mickey’s of Hollywood has reopened with a fresh, new art deco theme on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.


Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the popular holiday spectacular “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” can now reserve a seat the “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” dessert party. Guests will start their evening at Echo lake where Chip and Dale will meet and greet guests as they enjoy a variety of holiday themed snacks, desserts, beer, wine and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty drinks. Guests will then be escorted to a special reserved seating area to witness Wonderful World of Animation, followed by "Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!" This special holiday offering is available from November 8, 2019 – January 5, 2020.


Guests utilizing Disney’s Memory Maker and Disney’s PhotoPass services can now purchase a Disney PhotoPass Archive USB port containing all of their photos and videos as captured by PhotoPass photographers. The drive can be purchased for $34.95 plus tax from the PhotoPass website.


WiFi has now come to select buses at Walt Disney World. The new service is currently available on the various character wrapped buses.


Several new Vegan plant-based dining options rolled out at Disney’s Hollywood studios this week. Earlier this year, Disney announced it would be rolling out more plant based options throughout it’s parks worldwide. Among the new options spotted this week are:

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line has been named the World’s Best Cruise Line by Conde Nast Traveler for the eight year in a row.




The Disney Wonder set sail this week with a number of enhancements to the ship. Among the most exciting changes is the newly opened French Quarter Lounge, inspired by Disney’s Princess and the Frog. By day, the lounge will feature family friendly activities including Disney trivia and character meet and greets. At night, the bar takes center stage with a full fleet of specialty cocktails and fine beverages.


Elsewhere, Cove Café opens to adults as a redesigned coffee shop. Vibe, the space exclusively for teens from 14-17 has been refreshed. The Disney Wonder sails to Alaska, the Mexican Riviera, the Caribbean, and Bahamas throughout the year. New for 2020, the Wonder will depart from New Orleans.
