Favorite Things: Holiday Edition

Throughout the holiday season, we will be sharing some of our favorite things. Things to do. Things to see. Things to eat. Things to give. We hope you enjoy this series!

Disney Cruise Line - Very Merrytime Cruise

A great way to celebrate the Christmas and holiday season is to sail away on one of Disney Cruise Lines Very Merrytime Cruises. There are several itineraries offered throughout the fleet during the months of November and December. This year, my husband and I spent Thanksgiving week on the Disney Dream for the 4-Night Bahamian Very Merrytime Cruise. It was such a treat and a great way to jumpstart the Christmas season!

The ships and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, are beautifully decorated for the holidays. There is no shortage of holiday festivities beginning with Mickey’s Tree Lighting Magic Ceremony that kicks off in the atrium on the first night of sailing.

A sampling of some of the festivities you will enjoy are meet and greets with your favorite Disney pals in their holiday attire; a life-sized edible Gingerbread House; meeting Santa in person; Storytime with Mrs. Claus; sing-a-longs of classic holiday tunes and dance parties with the Disney Characters; and exclusive holiday-themed Disney Cruise Line merchandise available for purchase. With all there is to see and do, you are totally immersed in the holiday spirit throughout your entire trip.

All of this in addition to the first class entertainment, meals, and service that are customary on a Disney Cruise make a Disney Very Merrytime Cruise the perfect choice to add to your list of holiday experiences!
