Favorite Things: Holiday Edition

Throughout the holiday season, we will be sharing some of our favorite things. Things to do. Things to see. Things to eat. Things to give. We hope you enjoy this series!

Every year, Walt Disney World cooks up a variety of special treats during the Holiday season. Check out these photos!!

Tom Reed, a Vacation Specialist with Coasters & Castles Travel, visited Walt Disney World parks in December and sent us these photos from the Cookie Stroll in EPCOT. The Cookie Stroll is part of the ever expanding EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. We wonder if Disney will also be selling elastic waist pants soon.

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort
Peppermint Cheesecake

The Disney Resorts also have some yummy seasonal treats. Robin Wright, Vacation Specialist with Coasters & Castles Travel is enjoying a special trip to Walt Disney World with her sweet family right before the holidays. She sent us a photo of this Peppermint Cheesecake at the Riverside Mill Food Court at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort was DELICIOUS!! And, we love the beautiful red swirl and candy cane detail on this yummy dessert!!

Orange Bird Christmas

Also spotted: An Orange Bird Christmas treat!! A Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party exclusive, and available at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom, the Orange Bird treat features white chocolate mousse, scented with orange and filled with orange curd atop a citrus almond cream cake, with white chocolate bird and buttercream leaves. YUM!

Coasters & Castles Vacation Specialist, Sandy Fardie, spent a few days at Walt Disney World before Christmas and found some really cute treats. Look at these adorable cupcakes!!

If cupcakes aren't your thing, don't worry! There are so many other treats to choose from: caramel apples, rice krispie treats and more!

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy (and Sweet) New Year!!
