September is one of my favorite months for several reasons! I got married in September and this September is actually my 5th wedding anniversary! How cool. Let's talk about all the fun things you can do in Disney World during the month of September.
#1- Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival
This is a wonderful festival that runs from July 14th through November 19th. This even includes international marketplaces, live music, scavenger hunts! Have you ever wanted to try foods from around the world? This is your perfect spot because there are popup booths that feature foods new for you to try. These booths typically range from $4 dollars to $10 for different food tastings.
I will be heading to the Festival the last week of October and I can not wait to try the Brazil kiosk! There are helpful Festival Global Marketplace signs around the park that feature, things such as nonalcoholic, plant based, gluten free etc! There is also live music during this time in Epcot and it features bands like Boyz !! men, and News Boys! A kid favorite is Remy's Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger hunt! Finally, there is special merchandise for this event. It is important to make a plan before heading out that way you can make sure you hit all of your favorite spots!
#2 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
This is a extra ticketed event that takes place August 12th through October 31st 2022. Be sure to check out the Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular stage show and the Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks. Dress in costume - adults too!! Trick or treat throughout the park, and try some spooky snacks! I can't wait to try the M & M Peanut Butter Churro, and the Bix Pastry Tail with Cold Witches Brew Coffee! Did you notice the Hocus Pocus reference right there? This event is from 4pm till midnight.
#3 Crowds and Weather
The crowds this time of year tend to slow down during this time becuase of the school year - remember that with every park day you will need those Park Pass Reservations. It is Florida in the fall so do you know what that means? Rain- come prepared bring poncho's, and umbrella's, water proof shoes, but don't let the rain stop you from having a great time!
