New to my blogger ranks I can’t wait to introduce Kim Miller. Kim journeys to Walt Disney World often but Covid-19 has shown her new opportunities and she is sharing today.
Planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is usually an exercise in packing as much activity into a day as possible. As frequent visitors, we have experienced the be there when the park opens and stay until the park closes multiple times.
On a recent post-covid trip, the reduced hours of the parks provided an opportunity to experience other aspects of visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
Tucked away in the box that contained my Magic Bands was a small card that contained Magical Extras. These were vouchers for some of the other attractions located around the parks. One of the vouchers was for Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.
As the parks were closing in the early evening, we decided touse our vouchers and check out the mini golf experience. Located near Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the course is two 18-hole miniature gold experiences. The courses are themed around the animated classic Fantasia. Each voucher entitles the holder to one 18-hole game on either course, the choice is yours.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a couple cast members ready to help us decide which course to play. Ultimately, we chose the Fantasia Gardens course as it was tailored for beginners.
Each hole contained different elements from the film like whimsical statues or musical surprises. Some of the obstacles could be a little challenging, but nothing too difficult.
There were lots of photo opportunities along course. As there was not a party playing behind us, we were able to take advantage of the various scenes for pictures and took our time playing and exploring the course.
So, if you are looking for something to do after the parks close, or even to take a break from the parks, take a trip to the Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf Course. Don’t forget to be on the look out for those Magical Extras, there may be a new hidden adventure awaiting you on your next trip!
Isn’t this great - if you want to plan a fantastic vacation touch base with Kim at kmiller@travelcnc.com.
