Magical Memories Monday

While we can't travel right now, our team is sharing some of the magical memories we have made on our vacations in the past. Enjoy!

I have so many magical memories, but one of my favorites is when I visited Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii in June 2017!

Aulani is located in Ko Olina, about 30 minutes outside of Honolulu. The resort has beautiful rooms and 2 restaurants, 3 lounges, and several quick dining options. And since it is Disney, you can get Mickey Ice Cream bars! There are lots of shops, an award winning spa, several swimming pools, a lazy river, and a beach. You never have to leave the resort if you do not want to.

My family enjoyed the luau (offered on select nights only, so be sure to check the schedule). The luau features authentic Hawaiian food, music, hula dancers, but also a surprise visit from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! The resort truly combines the beauty of Hawaii with the magic of Disney.

While Aulani offers an amazing vacation experience by itself, we also toured the island. You can book tours online before your trip or you can go to the concierge desk and they will help you book anything you like. There are also activities such as surfing and paddle boarding. We took the Circle Island tour, which took us all over the island including Diamondhead, Hanauma Bay, and the Dole Pineapple plantation. On another day, we took a tour of Pearl Harbor, which is definitely a must see.

At the resort, there was even a character breakfast with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy.

It was so much fun and very relaxing, also. Wish I was there now!
