Mardi Gras is coming back to Universal Orlando albeit in a different form. This event is running February 6- March 28, 2021. This year it will look a little different but you will still be able to enjoy some of your favorite Mardi Gras traditions.
Culinary Journey: Scattered around Universal Orlando, you can partake in Carnaval dishes and drinks (for purchase). Check out foods from the following:
Puerto Rico: Options include: Pernil & Mofongo; Picadillo Empanadas; Quesitos; Piña Verde; and more.
New Orleans: Crawfish Boil; Beignet; Jambalaya; and more.
Trinidad and Tobago: Pholourie (V); Pineapple Trini-Chow; Queen’s Park Swizzle; Carib Lager; and more.
Germany: Pork Schnitzel Sliders; Bavarian Pretzel; Vegan Bratwurst and Beer Braised Onions; Weihenstephaner Kristalweissbier; and more.
There are also selections from: Spain, Belgium, The Bahamas, Brazil, Cuba, Canada, Italy, Colombia, and France.
Even the floats will be there but in a different format. They will be on display the same way that Universal displayed the Macy’s Parade balloons but also scattered throughout the park.
One really fun event will be the Mardi Gras Scavenger Hunt. This will have a cost associated with it.
I don’t know about you, but I would sure love to get my hands on some beignets! I simply love them!
