Virgin Voyages is a new experience! This new cruise line is part of Richard Branson’s Virgin companies. Like all of his brands, he believes in a special experience for his customers. Virgin Voyages currently has two ships with more on the way. The Scarlet Lady was the first ship and she is due to make her virgin voyage in 2021. The other ship is the Valiant Lady and she will also have her first voyage in 2021.
Virgin broke the mold with their cruise ships and cruise line. Your dining experience aboard these ships will truly be unique. There are no buffets or regular dining rooms. All dining is restaurant based and you choose where and when you want to eat. Keep in mind that reservations are required.
The itineraries are in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean Seas. There are 4, 5, 7, and 8 night itineraries as well as a transatlantic itinerary.
Ports include: Miami (US Homeport); Key West; The Beach Club at Bimini (Bahamas); Costa Maya; Cozumel- Playa del Carmen; Puerto Plata; Roatan; St Croix, and San Juan.
Mediterranean ports include: Barcelona (Med Homeport); Cadiz; Ajaccio; Cagliari; Funchal; Gibraltar; Ibiza; Lisbon; Malaga; Marina di Carrara; Marseille; and more.
Sustainability is a high priority for Virgin Voyages. They have a proprietary energy source for their ships, do not use any single use plastic bottles or food containers, and they are very conscientious about the environment.
