Along with all of the fun things adults can do, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL) has age-appropriate kids clubs that will have interactive fun for all ages. Your kids can have just as much fun as the adults can.
The age ranges are as follows:
Aquanauts: Ages 3-5
Explorers: Ages 6-8
Voyagers: Ages 9-11
Teens: Ages 12-14
Teens: Ages 15-17
Select ships offer the Royal Babies & Tots Nursery. This is an additional cost activity for kids ages 6 months- 3 years. This is a drop off program for daytime and evening hours. They also have free time play for parents and kids to bond while playing with specifically designed developmental toys perfect for this age group.
There is group sitting and In-Stateroom babysitting services available for kids ages 3-11 years old. This is available from 10PM- 2AM. The group sitting occurs in the Adventure Ocean Center. In Room baby sitting is available for kids age 1 year and up. This is done in the stateroom.
For the older kids, here are some of the age-appropriate activities:
Aquanauts: Music Activities, Animal, Color, & Shape Bingo, & Space Night
Explorers: Pirate Night (Who wants to miss out on Pirate Night, Not me!), Carnival Games, & Talent Show
Voyagers: Karaoke, Scavenger Hunts, & Crazy Tag
Teens (12-14): Pool Parties, Themed Dance Parties, & Video Games
Teens (15-17): Battle of the Sexes, Casino Nights, & DJ Training
For all kids on Royal’s Perfect Day at Coco Cay, there is Hermit Crab Hunt, Sand Castle Building, Sea Shell Collecting, and more.
The kids‘ club has a large collection of “Adventure Ocean Edu-tainment Programming” per Royal Caribbean. These include but are not limited to: Adventure ScienceSM featuring Germ Jungle©, Wacky Water Workshop©, Jurassic Junior©, and more.
They showcase Adventure Art & Adventure Theater, giving the kids the opportunity to showcase their creative side. The art projects are themed towards the different cruise destinations giving the kids and experience in the cultures of these destinations. Kids of all ages are bound to find fun aboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise!
