With the Latest News from the CDC Regarding Cruising, it is Time to Start Dreaming Excursions Again!

Updated: May 9, 2021

The Centers for Disease Control has announced that cruising from American domestic ports could start in July. This is great news and we are excited to start thinking about cruising again.

Here is part 1 of our 2 part series showing the top excursions available through some of our favorite cruise lines. This week, we will cover Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Next week, we will have MSC Cruises and Virgin Voyages.

When you take a cruise, you are in a constant state of bliss. Either you are relaxing onboard, enjoying all the luxury at sea, or you are exploring on land at the many beautiful destinations the cruise stops at. At each port of call, there are fantastic excursions to enjoy.

You won't believe how much there is to see and do. Let's look at ten excursions available on Caribbean trips on four of our favorite cruise lines.

Ocean Cruising on Norwegian Cruise Lines

When you take a cruise to the Caribbean on Norwegian Cruise Lines, you can expect to be impressed on board and land. They have short and long cruises to many Caribbean destinations. You will enjoy some time on the pristine beaches, discover tropical Caribbean lifestyle and culture, try tasty new food and pick up gorgeous souvenirs at every stop.

Here are some exciting experiences you can try during NCL cruises.

Our top pick is rather sweet and tempting. When you visit the family-owned Akte'il Ha Cacao Farm in Belize, you will learn about how cacao seeds are turned into chocolate. The friendly staff will show you around, answer all your questions and of course, you have many chances to sample the delicious chocolate. This authentic travel experience gives an insight into local life on a farm and will be a highlight of your trip.
