wan·der·lust - (noun) a strong desire to travel.

 

In 1997, Stephanie got on a plane for the first time. As she sat, transfixed, watching the clouds go from being above her, to next to her, to below her, she was filled with excitement and curiosity about what was going to be on the other side when the clouds were once again above her head and her feet on the ground. 

 

That plane landed in a magical place known as Florida, and shortly thereafter she was introduced to Walt Disney World.  It was filled with fun, whimsy and pure happiness everywhere you turned. Quickly, however, it became clear that a vacation to this wonderful place required extensive research and planning, neither of which Stephanie's family had done. While the place was magical, the trip was riddled with bumps in the road. A family trip to Mexico's Mayan Riviera a few years later yielded the same results. Stephanie returned home from Mexico feeling like there had to be a better way to experience other places. 

 

This taste for adventure had awoken a passion in Stephanie that grew stronger with every destination visited. By the time she graduated college, Stephanie had returned to Disney World three more times and had checked 10 more countries off her bucket list. She'd learned lessons and had come up with many strategies to make the most of her travel time and budget.

 

Nearly three decades later, this feeling (that Stephanie later learned to be wanderlust) has only grown. She has traveled to 25 states and Puerto Rico along with 16 countries outside the United States and over 20 trips to Walt Disney World, Disneyland and multiple cruises. 

 

After starting a family of her own in 2016, Stephanie because a travel agent in order to share her knowledge and resources with others, and to continue to feed her wanderlust vicariously through training certifications and planning trips for clients. 

 

Stephanie is now an experienced agent with over a dozen certifications and is working on becoming a Certified Autism Travel Professional™ (CATP). She has a passion for Disney, the Caribbean and Western Europe and especially loves to make special trips even more magical. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two young sons and would love to help you plan your next vacation.
