Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is located 2 hours Southeast of Walt Disney World along the Atlantic Treasure Coast. With 211 rooms including Deluxe Studios, Ocean view Inn Rooms, and 1 and 2 bedroom villas, this resort is beautiful and affordable. There are dining options on-site, a Mickey-shaped pool with a waterslide, and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean at your feet.
There’s plenty to do at this property with its own mini-golf course, pool and ping pong tables, cornhole, spa, and tons of activities all day long. My family enjoyed pumpkin painting and a campfire sing along with s’mores.Some activities are free and some have a small charge.
The dining options on site include the Wind and Waves restaurant for a nice sit down meal. You can also order to go at the Wind and Waves poolside bar. There’s a convenient market where you can get hot sandwiches and pizza, breakfast staples including delicious muffins and pastries, cold cuts, and some fun favorites from the Disney Parks including Mickey pretzels, churros and dole whips!
The Green Cabin Room is a lounge area with a lovely ocean view where you can enjoy a drink and a light meal. The Goofy character breakfast is available on Saturday mornings and consists of a delicious buffet. This is very low key compared to the park character meals, but the Mickey waffles are just as delicious!
