Tip Tuesday

Every Tuesday, the Vacation Specialists at Coasters & Castles Travel will share one of their Tips for a great vacation. These have been compiled over many, many trips and will help you have a seamless, wonderful vacation.

From Mary Graham, Vacation Specialist

We all love getting the most out of our time in the Disney parks! For some, that means being in the park from Rope Drop to Kiss Goodnight. If that works for you, carry on. If, however, it's just way too much - too hot, too exhausting, then consider this:

Book some meals in nearby resorts for a break from the parks. Even the Quick Service dining would give you a break from being on your feet, from the heat and humidity and from the crowds.

For example, on your Magic Kingdom day, it would be fun to take a break and dine at 'Ohana in the Polynesian Village Resort or try 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. For Quick Service, I love Gasparilla Grille at the Grand Floridian and Kona Island serves amazing sushi in the Polynesian Village Resort.

On your Animal Kingdom day, take a quick bus over to Animal Kingdom Lodge for lunch at The Mara (quick service) or make a reservation at Sanaa. Just hanging out in the gorgeous lobby, or browsing the gift shop gives you that break you need.

I strongly encourage my clients to take a break for eating every day. It's a chance to catch up with each other, have a cool drink and get off your feet. You'll be glad you did. AND, you might just find a special resort for your NEXT Walt Disney World vacation!!
