Favorite Things: Holiday Edition

Throughout the holiday season, we will be sharing some of our favorite things. Things to do. Things to see. Things to eat. Things to give. We hope you enjoy this series!

One of my favorite things about Christmas at Walt Disney World is the Frozen Holiday Wish show at Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom. The show performs 2 times a night during the holiday season or early November thru the end of December. I love that you don't need a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it's performed every night so anyone with a park ticket can see it.

To watch Elsa transform the castle to ice is so magical in person! And the lights on the castle are beautiful afterwards. It looks amazing in photos and on video but you really need to see it in person for it to sparkle! I would get a spot early if you want to be up close to see the stage show because it does get crowded but you can still feel the magic from further down Main Street. I'll never forget it and neither will my children. It inspired some great questions from the mind of a child. My oldest, who was 3 at the time saw the castle was not lit up or made of ice the next morning. He asked me what happened to the ice. I told him that it melted once the sun came up so Elsa has to come back out tonight to change it to ice again!

Another lifelong memory created during a Disney vacation!
