Did you know that over the holidays For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration transforms into the holiday special Olaf's Frozen Adventure? The new show debuts today at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The show is hosted by the Royal Historians of Arendelle as they retell the story of Frozen. The historians make the show! They are so engaging and funny you'll never see the movie the same way. It runs about 30 minutes long and takes place every hour thru the day. As the story goes along they add their own hilarious notes and then play the songs from the movie in sing-along format with the words on screen so you can join in the fun. And as the story goes on you may see some familiar faces!
The holiday version adds in some songs from Olaf's Frozen Adventure. This was a 20 minute mini movie which original premiered in theatres before showings of Coco but now can be found on Disney +. There a number of great original songs; Ring in the Season and When We're Together featuring the same actors as the films. If you haven't watched it I highly recommend it!
But the best moment of both shows, besides the great music and comedic actors on stage is the big finale! I don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it but it's pure Disney magic!
It's also important to note that For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration will be closed for refurbishment from January 9 to January 27, 2023.
