There are the room categories then even more categories within each category! Today I want to go thru the three category levels to help you get started. They are Luxury, Club and Butler.
Luxury
Luxury rooms are the starting point for all rooms on property. No matter where you stay on property your vacation will include the following:

PADI-Certified Scuba Diving
Snorkeling Trips
Water sports
Land sports
Access to the fitness center
Championship golf
Tips, taxes and gratuities
Unlimited premium liquors
Unlimited premium wines
Up to 11 bars per resort

That's right, it's all included in your package price; food, sports, entertainment and alcohol! Luxury rooms offer different views; garden, tropical, pool or ocean view. Then each resort has different villages with themed rooms and the resorts can be quite expansive so perhaps location on property is important to you. There are quite a few things to consider when choosing which room would suit your vacation.
There are two resorts that don't offer the luxury category; Royal Plantation in Jamaica and Emerald Bay in the Bahamas. Royal Plantation only offers butler rooms.
Club Sandals
The biggest draw for the Club Sandals rooms is free room service from 7am to 10pm where you can order from a select menu. This allows you to have breakfast in bed or a private dinner on your balcony!
Then you also get access to the Club Sandals Lounge from 8am to 10pm. The lounge includes a coffee and tea station including espresso and cappuccinos, all day snacks, soda, juice and alcoholic beverages. Board games, books and novels, iPads displaying menus, martini menu, weekly activities and the managers wine list plus a quite, cool and relaxing place to unwind.

Butler
Butler Suites are the top-tier and most romantic rooms available. They range from over-the-water villas and bungalows with glass floors to view the ocean below, bluff top hideaways and Skypool Suites with an infinity pool right outside your door. The most elite of the butler suites are called Love Nest Suites.
But what sets these rooms apart are that they include their Butler Elite Service which is their Guild of Professional English Butlers. Here is a list of things your personal butler is available to do for you:
Greet you upon arrival with lemongrass-scented hand towels plus welcome cocktails and food
Escort you to your suite and transport your luggage plus they will even unpack for you if you'd like
Handle private check-in from your suite
Supply a cell phone to reach him/her when needed
Serve you your favorite drinks and lunch while you lounge on the beach or pool
Room service includes ALL restaurants on property
Ensure your table is arranged in the restaurant of your choice for dinner
Arrange a perfect romantic dinner for two in the privacy of your suite or your patio
You select the premium liquors added to your in room mini bar
And upon departure bring your bags to the departure area and escort you to the Club/Butler lounge then even to your transportation and bid you farewell
